Music & Drama

School Choir & Orchestra
The College Choir and Orchestra take part in various activities each year. Their performances include the 6th Year Graduation, Church Services, Emmanuel, Peter’s Passion and the School Musical.

Musical
The College produces a full scale musical bi-annually. These productions have been taking place since 1981 so we have a long list of musicals which have been produced over the years from Oklahoma in 1981 to Annie Get Your Gun in 1992 to Fiddler on the Roof in 2005 to Grease in 2011.

Festival of Music
Each year the Co. Dublin VEC host a concert in the National Concert Hall featuring students from Co. Dublin VEC schools.

Peter’s Passion
A musical version of the Passion of Christ Produced by the Chaplain and staged in Skerries parish Church each Holy Week.

School Stars Competition
Students regularly enter the School Stars Competition. Many students have progressed to later stages.

Emmanuel
The School Choir takes part in the Emmanuel sacred music concert annually in the Helix.
