Welcome from Kevin McLoughlin, Principal
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Skerries Community College Website which I hope will provide you with an insight of the school, our ethos and culture. As you browse through the website, I know you will get a great sense of our school spirit, the welcoming atmosphere, the energy and the sense of community.
I would like to thank all those teachers who organised the many events and activities you will read about. It’s testament to the commitment and dedication of our staff. Pupils of Skerries Community College are given great opportunities to immerse themselves in all areas of school life and therefore really becoming a real part of what we are about.
We provide a high-quality education to all our students and we encourage students to do their best and achieve both individually and as a team. It is our philosophy that every pupil is talented and that it is our responsibility to ensure that each student reaches their potential, whilst also portraying respect and teamwork. We are very proud of our academic success in the Leaving and Junior Certificate examinations and again this is thanks to the hard work and commitment of our staff.
As Principal, I feel privileged to be leading the school forward, building on an already wonderful reputation and many achievements of the past and becoming part of the next chapter in Skerries Community College.
